[ACDP-Announce] Committee membership

Wednesday, we had our reorganization meeting.   We elected officers as well as the committee,  and we had a good time doing it!     As you may remember, it was not the best of weather conditions, but still 72 people were in attendance.  In addition to the business that we had to do, David Toscano and Denise Lunsford both spoke to the caucus expressing their enthusiasm and thanks for the large part that the Democratic Party played in their election.   Their comments made me very proud to be a Democrat.
 
Each year, we "apply" for Committee membership.   All that is required is to complete and return the attached application and, hopefully, the $25 contribution to the address shown above as soon as possible.   The funds, for the most part, are used to help the Committee with its "Get Out The Vote" drive and to support our candidates.    The $25 is requested but it is voluntary.    The bylaws allow us to include any person applying to be a part of the Committee so please, join us for the 2008 campaign.  It will be an exciting year, and I hope that we can include as many people as possible to assist in making the Commonwealth Democratic.  
 
Please join!   Fill out the attached application and send it along with your contribution as soon as you can to the address shown above.  We need your help, support and ideas as we move ahead through this very important election year.   Thank you.   I appreciate your help, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
