Saturday, July 14:  Opening of Connie Brennan's Headquarters

Everyone is invited to the Opening of Connie Brennan's* Headquarters at the 
Nelson Heritage Center, 1653 Thomas Nelson Highway, Arrington, VA (Nelson 
County on Route 29, almost into Amherst) at 2Pm on July 14th - Senator 
Creigh Deeds is the special guest. It will be a fun-filled family 
afternoon with music, hotdogs, and politics. Bring the kids, lawn chairs,

*Connie is the Democratic candidate for the House of Delegates from the 59th District.  The district lies in a part of Albemarle County.

We are off to a good start for the voter ID project, and we are assembling a good group for Saturday morning, July 14th.   We will be meeting in two locations that are set for now.  One is in the Cale precinct at the "Mill Creek Market"/ Exxon Station on Avon Street Extended.   This is near Monticello HS and right across from Mill Creek subdivision.  The second meeting is at the McDonald's on Hwy 29 on the east side of 29 just south of the Airport Road intersection.
 
We will meet at both places at 9:30, and I promise we will end at noon.  I was talking to a good friend of ours the other day and she said that it was a great way to lose some weight as we walk a bit.  But whatever your motivation, we do ID the voter and that will help us enormously with a successful election when we will put ALL of our Democratic candidates for 2007 into their respective offices.  Please come out and support this project.  If you have any questions, just respond to me as the "sender" of the note, or call Cheryl at 296 1865.  It is a fun time, with the opportunity to make some new Democratic friends.
