This week, we have two very good volunteer opportunities. The first one is the Public Service Project that we have on Route 250 in Ivy. We "beautify" the road and we will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday morning (March 22nd) with a short meeting at Toddsbury Store in Ivy (that is Route 250 about 3 miles west of the Boar's Head). We will walk a portion of the two mile segment of road that we have assigned to us. It usually takes about an hour and a half or so. Please wear good shoes, bring gloves, and dress appropriately! We will provide vests and bags, so we just need you to help. And the best part of all is that you get to spend an hour or so with some terrific Democrats who are committed to the election of Mark Warner and Tom Perriello in the fall! (As well as a terrific President!).

Speaking of Tom Perriello, the Perriello campaign has a mailing project that is in need of volunteers to assist in getting a mailing out this week. It will begin at 10 am on Wednesday (March 19), at the Perriello HQ at 1932 Arlington Blvd, Suite 215. The HQ is in the building just to the right of the Credit Union and Arlington Road runs just on the south side of Barracks Road Shopping Center, so it is convenient. Ask for Onnie Baldwin when you get to the HQ. Please give a bit of time, or a lot, depending on what you can do for the campaign. It would be terrific to see you there.

I hope many can come out and help to either raise the image of the party on Route 250 or help the Perriello campaign. We have waited for the campaigns to begin locally this year, and now, believe me, they have started. I hope to see you soon.

Fred
