Yesterday, we had 25 intrepid souls out for the voter identification project in the middle of the rain! For starters, I want to thank all those who participated, and it is wonderful to see the commitment to this important project is shared with so many. It certainly can be the difference in carrying the county for Democrats, but it also has implications statewide as we can add to the Democratic total, and it may just be that which pushes our ticket over the required number of votes. We had that experience in 2006, and we can certainly have it again, as the election this year is projected to be a very close race. In fact, I saw a poll yesterday that had the Presidential race exactly even. So everything we can do is important and may well change the dynamic of the election. So for Saturday, the following are the meeting places and the times remain the same. We begin at 9:30 and we will end at noon. So come on out. We would love to see you!
