1.  Fifth Grade Graduation Luncheon ­ Friday June 9th

Our 2006 class of graduating fifth graders will be leaving Baker-Butler soon
and we would like to honor their accomplishments. Baker-Butler is organizing
a function for our graduating 5th graders and their families. This informal
luncheon will take place on Friday June 9th from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm in the
main entrance hall. This activity is for all 5th graders and will take place
during their regularly scheduled lunch period. The graduation ceremony will
follow starting at 1 pm.

If you are interested in participating in their graduation luncheon by
donating items, we have created a set menu:

Ham or turkey on biscuits or dinner rolls (10 trays of 24), alternatively,
spiral turkey and ham wraps (these can be purchased at Sam's Club and other
stores)
Cheese cubes
Crackers, assorted
Vegetable trays to feed 10 to 15 people (8 trays)
Cut fruit pieces to feed 10 to 15 people (10 trays)
Chips in individual bags

We need donations of these items on Friday morning. Please contact Angela
Neuman at ( anewman at k12albemarle.org ). In addition, if you and your family
are planning on attending the luncheon, please RSVP to Angela Neuman by June
7th. Thank you.



2.  Family Picnic and 4th/5t Grade Chorus Concert ­ Monday June 5th

The PTO has scheduled our final family event which will be a picnic prior to
the 4th/5th grade concert on Monday June 5th. Families can bring their
dinner to Baker-Butler and eat from 6 to 6:45 pm. Drinks will be provided.
The concert will begin at 7 pm.
