[BakerButlerMatters] Book Fair

Dear Parents and Families,
 
Our Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school from November 13, through
November 17, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. each day!  Our Family Event will
be on Friday, November 17, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. We will have
plenty of fun activities that encourage the love of reading.
 
Our Fair also connects kids to books they want to read.  We are looking for
Book Fair volunteers to make this year¹s fair a success. Here are some of
the activities we really need your help with:
 
1. Setting up the Fair on Wednesday, November 8.
2. Working as a cashier at the Fair during the week or on Family Night.
3. Hanging signs and banners throughout the school promoting the Fair.
4. Coordinate activities and contests for the Fair.
5. Coordinating the teacher wish lists.
6. Decorating for the Fair.  (The theme this year is the Reading Rain
Forest.) 
7. Coordinate the One for Books program.
8. Packing up the Fair on Monday, November 20.
 
Join us in making our Book Fair a big success for our school!  If you are
interested in helping, please contact the Book Fair volunteer coordinator,
Beth Bushell either at teamfam at adelphia.net or at 996-6852.
 
If you cannot volunteer, you can still help by simply spreading the word
about our Fair and joining your child at the Family Events.
