Dear Parents, Students and Friends of Hollymead, Baker-Butler and
Sutherland,
On Tuesday, January 15 from 6:00 to 8:30, these three northern feeder
pattern schools will bring our communities together for our first annual
cultural celebration, ³The U¹ and I¹ of Community². The Diversity
Committee of all three schools would like to invite you, your family, your
business or any international/cultural group to come and join us in the
celebration. The committee plans to include activities such as student and
adult visual or performing arts presentations (such as dance expression,
music, poetry), international food tasting, story telling, a group sing and
a multi-media headliner.
We need your help in getting volunteers for our celebration who would be
willing to donate time to help coordinate the events, donate food, share
games, share stories, and/or share multimedia presentations of their
homelands, heritage and cultural beliefs. If you would like to participate
in some other way, please let us know!
Please complete this form and send it to your school office/ principal. Feel
free to contact the PTO coordinators for your school for more information.
Thank you,
Diversity Committee, PTO Coordinators
