Book Fair Blizzard News Update
An extreme excitement advisory has been issued.  Our reading radar shows the
Scholastic Book Fair is on a direct path with our school.  The Book Fair
Blizzard is expected to hit Monday, November 12, and continue through
Friday, November 16.  So we can expect some of the coolest days ever at
Baker-Butler!  Here is what you can expect:

Nov. 8 and 9 - Student Preview:  Students preview the book fair with their
class and fill out a wish list to share with you.
 
Monday, Nov. 12 ­ Book Fair Opens
Fair hours: 7:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.  Look for it on the stage in the
cafeteria. 

Special Event:  Have Lunch With Someone Grand.  Students can invite anyone
they cherish to share lunch with them and then visit the book fair. Use the
invitation attached to give to your special someone.

Tuesday, Nov. 13 
Fair hours: 7:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.
Special Event: True to Your School Day.   Wear your Baker-Butler t-shirt or
sweatshirt. If you don¹t have one just wear something blue to show your
school spirit. 

Wednesday, Nov. 14
Fair Hours:  7:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.
Special Events:  Chilly Wednesday.  Sport your coolest winter hat to school
and chill out at the Book Fair Blizzard.  Parents Only Shopping Night.
ParentsŠ come after work from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. to get a head start
on that holiday shopping!!!!

Thursday, Nov. 15 
Fair Hours: 7:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 16
Fair Hours:  7:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Special Event:  Book Fair Blizzard Family Night.  Come join the fun in the
evening beginning at 6:15 p.m. at our special Book Fair Blizzard Family
Event.  All the great books at the fair will blow you away. Shop and look
forward to the Get Up & Move event in the gym, starting at 7:00 p.m.  Jay
Lopez from Z95.1 will be hosting this event. So, come as a family to shop,
enjoy the music, dance and have fun!  The festivities will end promptly at
9:00 p.m.
