Central Little League Open Registration is just ahead!
 
Central Little League, along with all the Little Leagues in Albemarle and
Charlottesville, will hold their open registration at Walker Upper
Elementary School on January 22, 23 and 24 from 6-8 p.m.   You need attend
only one of the three nights.  Please bring your child's birth certificate.
 
Central Little League follows the playing guidelines of Little League of
America (www.littleleague.org <http://www.littleleague.org/> ) and provides
the area's youth with the opportunity to learn baseball in a structured,
safe and motivational environment.  For the younger players, we organize
teams by schools and neighborhoods and, as the children progress (minors and
majors), we then have a draft system.  Our practices are held at local
schools and games are held at Pen Park, The Charlottesville Catholic School,
Baker Butler School and Greenbrier School.
 
The league is organized as follows:
T-ball for ages 5-6
Coach Pitch for ages 6-8 (children age 6 may move to this level if they
played one year of T-ball)
Minor League for ages 9-11
Major League for ages 10-12
