Baker-Butler PTO Officer Nominations
Are you looking for a great opportunity to be involved in your child¹s
school? The nominating committee is looking for candidates for the following
positions for next year¹s (2008-2009) PTO Board: President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer, and Volunteer Coordinator. It is possible for one or
two persons to be nominated and elected to fill any single elected position.
(e.g. co-presidents). If you are interested in throwing you name in the hat
or know of somebody you would like to recommend, please email Tom Pajewski
at tompajewski at embarqmail.com.
 
 
Northside Cal Ripken League Open Registration is Now Open!
Northside Cal Ripken League, will hold their open registration at Hollymead
Elementary School on February 4th, 5th and 6th from 6-8 p.m.  You need
attend only one of the three nights.  Please bring your child's birth
certificate.  OR

Northside Cal Ripken League provides the area's youth with the opportunity
to learn baseball in a structured, safe and motivational environment.  For
the T-Ball players we organize teams by schools and neighborhoods, and for
Rookie, Minor and Major divisions we have a draft system.  Our practices are
held at local schools and games are held at Hollymead and Baker-Butler.

The league is organized as follows:
T-ball for ages 4-6
Rookie ages 6-8 (children age 6 may move to this level if they played one
year of T-ball)
Minor League for ages 9-10
Major League for ages 11-12
