[BrownsvilleOnline] Family Literacy Night

Please mark your calendars for Family Literacy Night on March 21st. This
special night will include a Used Book Sale that will span the
generations . . . preschool books, picture books, early readers, chapter
books, older elementary, and even teen and adult books. We want to keep
books in the hand of Brownsville students. Used books will be sold for
twenty-five cents each. Proceeds will be used to advance literacy and
the love of reading at Brownsville. Unsold books will be donated to
established programs such as Book Buddies. 

 

You can donate your gently used books from now until March 21st. Send
the books in with your students. Drop them in the large box in the
lobby.

 

Please do plan to attend on March 21st from 6:15 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

 

In conjunction with Family Literacy Night Brownsville will be hosting
three visiting authors. Our students will have the opportunity to hear
and see these authors. Order forms have been sent home for autographed
copies of books. All orders must be returned with payment to school by
Friday, March 3rd. If you need an order form please call the school
office (823-4658) or email (dgirvin at k12albemarle.org

orders.
