Welcome
Welcome to the 2006-2007 school year and the Burley Bulletin. The Bulletin
is a resource for both parents and staff. Please send any school related
items or other topics that would be of interest to parents and staff to
shp33 at alumni.virginia.edu <mailto:shp33 at alumni.virginia.edu> . This
newsletter will go out on an as needed basis, so just send your information
to me and Ill get it out as soon as possible. Please feel free to forward
this newsletter to anyone who is interested in staying in touch with Burley
and remember that copies of the most recent Bulletin are in the schools
front office for those who dont have e-mail.

Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers for the following activities:
Dance Chaperones Please contact Ms. Cutright at 295-5101 or
jcutright at k12albemarle.org <mailto:jcutright at k12albemarle.org> if you can
help chaperone the dance on September 1 from 6:30 9:00 P.M.
Fall Magazine Sale Please contact Shelley Payne at 984-6862 or
shp33 at alumni.virginia.edu <mailto:shp33 at alumni.virginia.edu> if you can
help with this fundraiser starting on September 12. Jobs include processing
order forms as well as handing out prizes during lunch.
Message from the School Nurse
Dear Parents,
Medication for your child MUST be provided by you, including any over the
counter medications. Medicine is to be sent in the original container (no
baggies). A permission form must be signed by you and on file in the clinic
in order for medication to be administered.
