Dance This Friday
There will be a dance this Friday, December 8, from 6:30 – 9:00 P.M.
Bullying Surveys
We still need you to send in those parent surveys. We have less than half
returned so far!
Lost & Found
The Lost & Found is overflowing!  We need several volunteers who can come in
this Thursday, December 7, any time during the school day to set out items. 
We will leave these items on display for several days, so please stop by and
see what’s gone missing from your home!  If you can help set out items

Volunteers Needed for Concert This Thursday
We need the following help for this Thursday’s concert:
*         4 parents from 6:30 – 7:00 PM to assist Ms. Allen with getting
students ready for the concert.
*         2-3 parents from 6:30 – 7:00 PM to organize food for the reception
in the cafeteria
*         6 parents to sit with students during the concert (7:00 – 8:15 PM)
*         4-6 parents to help put away equipment after the concert
*         4-6 parents to oversee the reception and clean up the cafeteria
after the reception
*         1-2 parents who can sell poinsettias right after the concert

Also, please remember to send in the following for the reception after the
concert:
*         Brass sections:  vegetables, fruit tray or appetizer
*         W.W. except clarinets:  cookies, cupcakes, or brownies
*         Percussion, all strings students:  2 2-liter sodas, lemonade or
iced tea
*         Clarinets:  paper products (napkins, 8” paper plates, and cups)

*         Thursday, December 7, 7:00 PM, 7th & 8th Grade Band, Strings and
Jazz Band Holiday Concert
*         Friday, December 8, Progress Reports sent home
*         Friday, December 8, 6:30 –9:00 PM, School Dance
*         Tuesday, December 19, All Choir Performance
*         Thursday, December 21, Bearettes Goodwill Tour
*         December 22 – January 2, School Holiday, NO STUDENTS
*         January 8 – 12, Fall SOL Social Studies Testing
