[BurleyBulletin] Funeral Service for Mr. Howard

Dear Parents and Friends of Burley,
Yesterday our school community was informed that Eddie Howard, Principal
Marcha Howard’s husband, passed away unexpectedly this weekend.  There will
be a wake this Friday evening, November 24, from 7 - 8 PM at J.F. Bell
Funeral Home (106 6th Street NW).  The funeral will be on Saturday at 11:00
AM at Zion Union Baptist Church (1015 Preston Ave., across from Washington
Park), followed by a graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens on Rt. 29
across from Target.
In lieu of flowers you may make a donation in Eddie Howard’s name to one of
his favorite charities, the American Cancer Society.  Condolences can be
sent to the school at 901 Rose Hill Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22903 and
they will be forwarded to Mrs. Howard.
Please keep Mrs. Howard and her family in your thoughts and prayers during
this difficult time.
