Make-up Pictures Volunteers Needed Tomorrow
Mrs. Wilson needs two volunteers to help with make-up pictures for
Wednesday, November 29th from 10:45 - 3:45.  Please contact Evelyn Wilson at
school by email ewilson2 at k12albemarle.org or call:  295-5101, extension 204.
Poinsettia Pick Up Tomorrow
The poinsettias will be available for pick up from 11am - 6 pm on Wednesday,
11/29/06.  Questions, please contact Mrs. Allen @ 295.5101.
Volunteer Needed to Sell Dining Guide
The Band is looking for a volunteer to help sell coupon books at the band
concert on December 7th.  Please contact either Susan Allen or Evelyn Wilson
at school.
Artist on Stage Day
The related arts team is sponsoring an Artist on Stage day December 1st.
 Students will learn to Ballroom Dance during their regular scheduled
exploratory time with special guest teachers:  Lisa Harbin, Aimee Creamer,
Alyssa Lundgren & Burley¹s very own – Ms. Dean!  Then they will see a
demonstration from 3:00 -- 3:45 PM of Ms. Dean and a male professional
dancer, Mark Trimpe, demonstrating the Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, Cha Cha
Cha and Rumba!
EXPO Night Silent Auction
We are beginning our collection of donated items for the Silent Auction that
will be held in conjunction with EXPO Night in February.  We have set a very
high goal for ourselves this year and need your help.  We have no doubt that
with all the combined efforts and expertise of the parents and teachers at
Burley, we will be able to reach our goal.  Do you have a special talent and
would be willing to give lessons?  Do you work at a local business that
would be willing to donate items or services?  Do you know someone with UVA
tickets they’d like to donate?  Every item will help.   Please contact Susan
