Burley Bear Market

 The Burley Bear Market will be held on Saturday, May 10th, rain or shine, from 9:00 A.M. until Noon and will be a fundraiser for the Yearbook club.  Buy a table for $10.00 and bring your "yard sale" items to sell!  You keep your profits.  Contact Evelyn Wilson at ewilson2 at k12albemarle.org

NRAO Open House
The National Radio Astronomy Observatory will host a community Open House on April 27th from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.  More info can be found at www.nrao.edu.

AHS Cheerleader Meetings
Editor's Note:  sorry that this didn't get out before the April 3rd date.
Any 8th graders interested in trying out for Albemarle High School Cheerleading for next year must attend one of two meetings. The first meeting is THIS Thursday April 3 at 6:30pm in the Media Center. Please make every attempt to attend this meeting and use the 4/17 meeting only as a backup - a parent and a cheerleader need to be present in our to be eligible to try out. No exceptions will be made. If you have any questions please contact Jen Kreitzman 953-8772 or varsitycoach at gmail.com

Burley Volunteer Breakfast  
National Volunteer Week:  April 27 - May 3, 2008

Burley will host a breakfast  for our volunteers on Wednesday, April 30 in the Media Center from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.   We certainly hope all our School Volunteers will be able to join us.
