Celebration Of Cultures

Friday, November 10th from 6-8 pm is Crozet Elementary School's
First Annual Multicultural Diversity Night!

We are going to celebrate our roots as a community by coming together to nibble tastes from all over the world. We will celebrate the work children and parents have created that relates to our global community. We will enjoy music, dancing and presentations from 6 continents.

Each grade level in the school has been assigned a continent. The assignments are as follows:

Kindergarten - North America (including Mexico)

First - Central & South America

    Second-Asia

    Third-Africa

    Fourth-Australia

    Fifth-Europe

We ask that all families come to celebrate and bring appetizers from the continent for your child's grade (above). We have attached some recipes to help with ideas. However, feel free to bring any appetizer that is representative of your own culture and take it to the appropriate hallway upon your arrival.

Any questions? Call Dawna Jo McCracken - Multicultural Diversity Night Coordinator at (434) 823 - 4800 or e-mail Dmccracken at k12albemarle.org
