The Beautification Committee is actively seeking volunteers!  We would love the outside of the school to "WOW" people!  We only have 2 of us and it's just too much to accomplish, so we would like to encourage anyone who enjoys working outdoors to help in any way they are able.
 
Here are some areas that need helpers:
 
1)  Contribute time to the pre-openning spruce-up of the front beds and trees, by mulching,  weeding, and pruning.  We will also be planting new annuals in the entrance bed.
 
2) "Adopt-a-Plot" as a family, or join with another family to help maintain a particular spot outside throughout the year.  
 
3)  Make stepping stones with your children at home to donate to the "stepping stone gardens" in the beds at the side front entrances.  Signs and one stepping stone are in place now in each bed.  This can be done before or after school starts!
 
4)  We would like to sand and re-varnish/paint the 2 picnic tables in the courtyard.  If you have experience with this, we need to consult with you! 
 
5)  Volunteer to coordinate the use of the 4 raised beds in the back of the school and the 4 planters in the courtyard with the teachers who would like to use them as part of their curriculum.  Those beds that will not be needed will be maintained by the beautification committee volunteers.  
 
6)  Creative suggestions for involving the students.
