Albemarle County to Use Inclement Weather Make-up Days;

Families Advised to Mark Changes on Calendars

(ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Virginia) - Tuesday, Feb. 20 will be an inclement weather make-up day for Albemarle County Public Schools. It will be the first of five make-up days the School Division must use to replace dates when schools were closed for weather-related safety reasons. On make-up days, all schools will open and operate on their regular daily schedules.

Albemarle County families are asked to change the following dates on their calendars to school days:

*	February 20
*	March 22
*	June 7
*	June 8
*	June 11

Two additional make-up days, June 12 and 13, are reserved for use if needed. Families are advised to create their summer schedules around the possibility that the last day of school could be postponed to June 13.

For more information about the School Division's inclement weather procedures, visit the website at www.k12albemarle.org <http://www.k12albemarle.org/> .
