[CrozetEagle] PTO Meeting 5/29 @ 7pm

Hi everyone,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

 

This is a reminder of the last Crozet Elementary PTO meeting for this school year:  Tuesday, May 29th, 7:00 in the library.  I promise to keep this meeting short.  There are only a few items on the agenda:  

 

*         Election of the slate of officers for the PTO board for next year - Patty Marbury, President; Dee Weikle - Vice President/President-Elect (for 2008-2009); Kaiti Schwartz - Treasurer; Gail Cornish - Secretary.  If there is someone else that you would like to nominate, then you can nominate that person at the meeting, and we'll have a vote from the members present at the meeting.  

 

*         Approval of the 2007-2008 budget - I hope to send out a copy of the draft budget on Tuesday by email.  So often, we've heard that parents don't know what the PTO funds pay for.  If you review the budget, you'll know exactly where the money goes.  We will make hard copies of the budget available in the fall.

 

*         Status of volunteers for 2007-2008 and tentative discussion of calendar

 

Please join us!  If you have never been to a PTO meeting before, now is the time to get involved!

 

Don't forget to mark your calendars:  1) Volunteer Appreciation breakfast in the cafeteria; 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 30th and  2) Fun Fair on June 1st, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

 

Thank you to those of you who came out to Starr Hill in Crozet last night for a tour of the brewery and to support our fantastic volunteers!  A very special thank you goes out to Mark Thompson for allowing us to come in after hours, the tour, and the overall great time!
