The PTO is beginning to wrap up this year's activities and think about 
planning for next year. When I was elected Vice President, it was with 
the agreement that, if elected, I would be President next year. With 
this in mind, I am writing to ask all parents and teachers to consider 
what it is you like about the PTO as it is now and what you wish we 
could change, as well as, think about what you would be willing to do 
for next year. I am beginning to collect suggestions and ideas for next 
year, as well as volunteers. I am especially interested in finding 
people willing to be officers. Our current officers are ready to move on 
and we need people who want to get involved to take over. This is an 
excellent way to learn the details about the inner workings of the PTO 
and convenient in that all of these officers will still be at Crozet 
next year to help out when asked. We will also be needing a Vice 
President, Secretary, and Treasurer. If you would be willing to do this 
or know of someone you think would be good at it, please send me email

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers 
from this past year. It is amazing how many donate time and energy to 
our school. A special thank you to our retiring officers: Patty Marbury 
who has devoted three years to being our President, Kaiti and Noah 
Schwartz who have been Treasurer for multiple years, and Gail Cornish 
who has been Secretary. These jobs require a strong commitment and our 
school has benefited significantly from the willingness of these 
individuals to serve. Please give them your thanks in person when you 
see them and let them know how much their work is appreciated.
