[CrozetEagle] Do you have an inclement weather plan for your child?

Just a reminder to make sure you have an inclement weather plan on file 
with your child's teacher.  With the possibility of inclement weather 
sometime tomorrow , we want to ensure that we have updated, current 
emergency plans for each student.  It would also be extremely helpful if 
you would discuss with your student what the plan would be if we were to 
dismiss school early.  Remember - please put a firm plan of action on 
the form as we cannot possibly call or accept calls from everyone to 
make arrangements.  Our phone lines become extremely busy whenever early 
closings occur and you may not be able to get a call through to the 
school. 

  

Albemarle County does have in place an Electronic School Notification 
System.  Through this system, you will receive an email or phone call 
with a recorded message advising you of the situation.   You may also 
call (434) 296-5886 for the latest closing information. The local radio 
and television stations also will make regular announcements.
