College & Career Planning Night Tomorrow (Thursday, January 17 th )!

We are keeping our finger crossed and hoping that the weather forecast is better than what is currently called for!   As you can see below, we are very lucky to have such talented presenters coming to this event.   In addition to their presentations, there will be opportunities for parents to discuss issues one-on-one with these experts.   Therefore, please make every effort to come out and support this event tomorrow night, so that their time and talent is not wasted.

However, in case of inclement weather we will abide by the following policy:

·          If Albemarle County Schools are closed or close early we are cancelled and we will announce the makeup date as soon as it is finalized.

·          If we have school on Thursday we will announce no later than 2:00 P.M. Thursday our decision on whether to postpone or go ahead with the event .   This decision will be announced on AM1070 WINA.

Following is a detailed schedule for the evening.   Please plan to arrive a few minutes before 6:00, as we will try to start as close to 6:00 P.M. as possible.   In addition to these wonderful speakers we will have wonderful treats prepared by some wonderful Burley volunteers!!
