Front page notes:
Barnes and Noble Fundraiser on Saturday, November 22 . We get a percentage of the sales that day when customers reference Crozet Elementary School. If you or any of your friends and family is planning on buying books for gifts for the holidays you will benefit the school by buying them on that day at the Charlottesville Barnes and Noble. There will also be boxes of books from each classroom teacher's wish list if you would like to purchase one then for a teacher's Christmas gift. We receive a percentage no matter when you buy that day, but we will have some special readers and an art activity set up starting at 1:00 and David Balducci will be doing a reading at 2:00.
The pet caretakers need help! If you have any interest in helping with the pet fish and lizards, either regularly or as a back up, please attend a short training session at 2:45 today (Wed.) afternoon. We will meet in the Crozet School Library and have a short "how to" meeting. We may need some additional help over the Thanksgiving break, so if you are available please contact Stephanie Weaver salygerl at embarqmail.com . Note they just need fed once during daylight. It takes maybe 20 minutes.
The Sally Foster Gift Wrap pick up times are Friday, Nov. 21 7:45-9:30 a.m, (note extended time!) and 2:30-6:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 10-noon, and Mon. Nov. 24 2:30-6:00 p.m.
Friday is Walk-To-School Day. Please walk to school with your child, or meet at the Baptist Church on St. George Ave. and there will be a group walking together from there. This group will meet at 7:30 and leave the church at approximately 7:40.
Have a great week!
