Front Page Notes 


We all had a great time at the Family Sock Hop with Principal Karen Marcus and D.J. Dr. Luvelle Brown from central office on Friday.   Attendance was strong and there were even poodle skirts and crazy socks on many a dancer. Songs included the Twist, the Macarena and YMCA among many others. Thanks so much to Karen Marcus and Bonnie Hagerman for organizing this event. Some suggested we just do this once in a while – let us know what you think! 

Planning is beginning for this year's Silent Auction , to be held on April 24. The first planning meeting will be held in the Crozet School Library Tonight at 6:00 p.m. Contact Carrie Schuler at cshuler at embarqmail.com with any questions. 

There will be school on Monday Feb. 16 th and Tuesday February 17 as these are the first two make up days. Tuesday clubs will meet. 

Don't forget sign ups for the Variety Show are due tomorrow , Feb. 11. The actual show will be March 13. If you need a form see the PTO website under Tuesday Bulletins. 

The Arts and Crafts Expo will start on Thursday March 12 and run thru Thursday, March 19 .  A flyer and entry form will be sent home in Tuesday folders sometime in mid February. Questions? Contact Cynthia Simpson at cvelles at embarqmail.com . 



Send Boxtops in this week!   We will be collecting from the teachers on  Friday, February 13th .  This will be the last collection date for this year, but you can keep collecting for next year after this week. Next week on Tuesday, February 17 will be our next PTO meeting . Karen Marcus will be discussing the impact of the new Instructional Leader Model being implemented by the county and we will be planning spring events.
