[EyesOnIvy] Enhanced speeding fines for Morgantown Road

The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors has an item on their consent
agenda for the May 12, 2004 meeting related to enhanced speeding fines for
Morgantown Road in Ivy.  After reviewing this document, and because it is on
the consent agenda, I don't expect public testimony would be required to
support this proposal.  The proposed resolution, if passed, would "request
that VDOT designate this roadway for enhanced speeding violation fines and
to install signage alerting motorists there will be a fine of up to $200 for
exceeding the established speed limit."
