[EyesOnIvy] Next Ivy community meeting, Wed. Jan. 18th

The next Ivy Community Association (ICA) meeting will be held on Wednesday,
January 18th at Murray Elementary School from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Our
membership lives in many different neighborhoods and the ICA encourages all
area residents to attend and learn about some important issues impacting the
larger community of Ivy.
 
AGENDA
 
7:00 to 7:15 -- Meet and greet
 
7:15 -- Election of directors and officers: 3 of 9 board members had terms
ending in 2005.  A slate will be sent by email in advance of the meeting.
 
7:25 -- Guest Tom Loach provides an update on developments in neighboring
Crozet
 
7:40 -- Faulconer Project Update: We will do a quick review of the past 4
years of activity to bring newcomers to the school and community up to
speed.  I promise an engaging slide show.
 
8:00 -- TRANSPORTATION discussion with Juan Wade from Albemarle County
 
   * Should we/Could we cul-de-sac the West end or Morgantown Rd. near Route
250?
   * How can we get a traffic light at Route 250 and Tillman Rd?
   * What is the new proposal under review to create a round-a-bout at the
intersection of Owensville Rd., Morgantown Rd. and Route 250?
