ALUMINUM CAN RECYCLING PROJECT: The aluminum can recycling project for this
year has been a wonderful success! During the 2 Field Days we crushed the
cans and took them to Coiners to recycle. In addition to what the school
collected, several parents took their cans directly to Coiners and had their
credit applied to Agnor-Hurt's account. All total we earned $100.00! Thank
you!

Please continue to collect cans for us over the summer. You can either take
them directly to Coiners and have them apply the credit to Agnor-Hurt, or
save them to bring back to school at the beginning of the school year. Here
are a few guidelines to follow:

1. ONLY ALUMINUM CANS will be collected. To check if a can is aluminum use
the magnet test. A magnet will not stick to aluminum.
2. Please RINSE out all cans.
3. Please CRUSH the cans. This saves space and prevents moisture
collection.

If you have further questions, please contact Miss Chapman at school at
973-5211 or email her at jchampan at albemarle.org

Thank you!!
