[Gator-Gazette] Rollerblading Volunteers Needed!

GATOR GAZETTE - October 22, 2003

 

 

P.E. Needs your help!  The rollerblading unit for 4th and 5th Grade students
will begin the week of October 27, 2003.  In order for this unit to run
smoothly, we are in need of parent volunteers.  Your job will be to assist
Mrs. Hairston and also to help students with their equipment.  Volunteers
will be needed for the following days and times:

 

 

Monday through Thursday 9:40 a.m. - 10:25 a.m. (4th Grade); 10:30 a.m. -
11:15 a.m. (5th Grade).

 

Mrs. Hairston's P.E. classes will roller blade first while Mr. Malm's
classes will concentrate on soccer and football skills.  Following a 2/3
period the classes will rotate.  If you are available during any of the
above time slots, please give Mrs.

Students who have their own rollerblade equipment are encouraged to bring
them when the unit begins.  Students will be REQUIRED to wear a helmet,
elbow, and knee pads and wrist guards during this unit.  There will be NO
exceptions.  Safety is our priority.  Shower caps are also required if you
use the school's equipment.  The rest of the above equipment will be
available to each student who needs them.
