Dear Parents,
 
   While we are still basking in the afterglow of the Fall Festival, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who planned, worked, and enjoyed the Festivities. I spoke to many volunteers who really enjoyed being part of the team. It is with this in mind that I invite you to become part of our team.  We are looking for volunteers who might be interested in giving a little of their time to coordinate, co-coordinate or sit on a committee for a Krispy Kreme fund raiser.  This fund raiser involves putting out a flyer to sell discount cards (buy one dozen, get one dozen free), assembling the orders, and distributing the cards to those who received the orders.  The profit margin is very attractive  for minimal effort on our part.  This is a great opportunity for our school.  We cannot participate in this fund-raiser if we donnot have the volunteers needed.  If you can help, please call either Arlene Lee (973-4418) or Amy Wicks(975-3845).
   In addition to Krispy Kreme, There is a fund raiser involving family portraits.  The cost to each family would be $8.  Of this, the P.T.O. would receive $6.  The volunteer time needed for this is also minimal and would include making a flyer, scheduling sitting times, being available on photo pick-up day.  What a great opportunity!     Lastly, for all the natural hosts and hostesses,  we would love to better welcome new families to are school.  If you would like to be part of a welcoming committee, please let us know!
