UPCOMING EVENTS
May 30th - Spring Drama Performance - "Wooing Wed Widing Hood" at 7:30 PM in the cafeteria at Henley Middle School. In the play we meet Red Riding Hood and her two sisters, Big Green Riding Hood and Medium Purple Riding Hood along with Mr. and Mrs. Hood who are television fanatics. In the kingdom of Wychwood-Under-Ooze Strong Prince Justin, Wise Prince Jason and Loud Prince Frank all want to woo Red Riding Hood so the king and queen hire the Fairy Godmother to set three tasks for the princes to perform which will determine who wins the hand of fair Red Riding Hood.
June 1st - Peace by Piece - 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM in the cafeteria at Henley Middle School. This is a silent auction of student made crafts including quilts, furniture, floor cloths and more. The proceeds will go to Biblioteca Rural, an organization building libraries in rural Guatemala.
June 1st - Spring Concert - 7 PM in the auditorium at Western Albemarle High School. The concert will include performances by several string groups, the Henley Chorus, the Jazz Choir, the Beginning Band, the Concert Band and the Symphonic Band.
June 2nd - The 8th Grade Science Field Trip to Busch Gardens
June 5th- June 8th - The 8th Grade Exams
June 8th - The 6th Grade Field Trip to Lake Monocan at Wintergreen Resort
June 9th - Awards Ceremony 11 AM - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (Full Day)
