Budget Update
The School Board has several upcoming meetings.  They are:
*Tuesday, March 20 at CATEC at 7:30 PM to discuss the proposed School  
Division funding request for '07-'08 (no public comment).
*Wednesday, March 21 at the County Office Building at 1:00 PM to  
discuss the funding request in a joint meeting with the Board of  
Supervisors (no public comment).
*Thursday, March 22 at the County Office Building at 6:00 PM for a  
Regular Work Session.  You may view the agenda at http://

There will be time for public comment at approximately 8:50 PM.  This  
meeting will include a Budget Work Session.  You can view the report  
to the School Board concerning the budget at

f.  The report includes background information, administrative  
consideration of where possible reductions will occur and both short  
and long term Budget implications.

The Board of Supervisors will then have a public hearing on  
Wednesday, April 4.  The hearing will be for public comment on the  
Board's Proposed Budget and the 2007 calendar year tax rate.
