September 24 to schedule conferences.

out more about gateway services and enrichment programs being offered

The next PATSO meeting will be Monday, October 1 at 7 PM in the  
Library.  Everyone is encouraged to attend!  You will find the

Middle School.  You can do this painlessly on line – the links are  
below.  You will need to have your card handy.  Don’t miss out on

Giant Food
  
If you have a bonus card, customers can complete a School Designation  
form at any Giant store by filling in the Henley Middle School ID  
Code 02468 to benefit from the program. Customers can also designate  
online at http://www.giantfood.com/aplus/pin_aplus.htm.


Kroger


Please take this to a local Kroger store. Have the cashier scan the  
bar code along with your Kroger Plus Card. This will register your  
card for our school.  You only have to scan this bar code one time  
and from 9/24/2007 - 4/21/2008, every time you shop at Kroger and use  
your Kroger Plus Card, our school will electronically earn credit  
toward free educational equipment.


Box Tops and Campbell's Soup Labels

Yes, we collect these too!  Please send them to school in an envelope  
marked Front Office/Box Tops and/or Soup Labels or bring them to the  
office when you are at school.

Target

We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the  
form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of  
Education® program. All you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or  
Target® Card. Just visit http://www.target.com/tcoe, or call  
1-800-316-6142 to designate our school (School ID 103183).


Parent Input Opportunity

Dear Albemarle County Public Schools Parents and Guardians,

The Albemarle County School Board has contracted with the  
Commonwealth Educational Policy Institute at Virginia Commonwealth  
University to complete a study of how well the School Division uses  
its financial, staff and capital resources to support student  
achievement. Part of this process includes the opportunity for  
parents, staff members and members of our community to discuss their  
views on this matter.

Two opportunities for parents to discuss this study and their  
thoughts on how we use our resources have been arranged as follows:

Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007

Crozet Town Meeting

There will be a Crozet Town Meeting on Thursday, September 20, 2007,  
7 - 9 PM at Western Albemarle High School.  The County staff will  
make presentations about the status of current and future projects  
related to the Crozet Master Plan, followed by time for residents to  
talk with staff members, consultants, and officials about individual  
projects.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for meet and greet!

White Hall Candidate Forum

There will be a Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 7 - 9 PM  
at Henley Middle School.  The White Hall District candidates for  
Board of Supervisors are David Wyant (R) - Incumbent Ann Mallek (D) -
