8th Grade Service Projects
On Thursday, April 3rd, for EXPO night, some 8th grade students will
be selling items or collecting items in connection with their 8th
grade service projects. I hope parents who can will support these
great efforts:
- Adam and Ben Schiller will be collecting used soccer equipment -
shin guards, soccer balls, cleats, jerseys, shorts and soccer socks -
to take to kids at La Pedrera School in Guatemala. Bins will be in
the front lobby until Friday, April 4.
- A group of girls who studied Haiti, are holding a bake sale in
support of the Orphanage and school in Grissom-Guard, Haiti.
- Another group, working on putting together Earth Day activities,
are selling our "Neither, Thank You" cloth grocery bags for $5.00,
and some buttons and bumper stickers relating to the environment.
Please help support these great causes....
