Expo Night

Expo night is Thursday, April 3.

5:30 - 8:00 PM You can visit classrooms and view displays of student
projects, art, writing, technology exhibits and MORE! In addition
the music department will present performances throughout the evening.

8:00 - 9:30 PM The talent show!

5:30 - 7:00 PM PATSO will provide dinner - a slice of pizza, salad,
cookie and drink for $5

Don't forget to go by the lost and found to look for that long lost
sweatshirt or jacket!!

Volunteers Needed!

We need volunteers to help serve the food. We are asking for
volunteers to work 30 minute shifts, allowing you plenty of time to
eat and visit the classrooms with your family as well. If you can
help, please email Lori Blumberg (mailto:lgband3 at embarqmail.com)
which ½ hour block you would like to work. [Note: The first shift
is 5:00 - 5:30 PM because we need a few extra minutes to get things
set up at the beginning.]

After the dinner is over, PATSO also needs help clearing the tables
from the cafeteria and setting up the chairs for the talent show.
This transformation begins at 7:00. This is a great chance for the
dads to feel needed! Please let me know if you are able to help.

Lost and Found

The lost and found bin is full and overflowing with lost lunch boxes
and clothing. Mr. Crutchfield is looking for a volunteer to help
organize these items to display at Expo night so they can find their
way home! If you can help please contact Mr. Crutchfield
(mailto:jcrutchfield at k12albemarle.org)

Henley Benefit Concert

The Henley Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Choir will be performing a benefit
concert on April 25, at 7:00 PM in the Lane Auditorium in the County
Office Building. We are fortunate to have Stephanie Nakasian and Hod
O'Brien, local professional jazz musicians, performing as our final
act of the evening.

All proceeds from this concert will go to the Blue Ridge Area Food
Bank which supplies food to needy families in our community. Concert
tickets are $10.00 for an individual ticket and $25.00 for a family
ticket. Any additional donations are welcome as all funds collected
will go to the food bank.

Come out and enjoy an evening of jazz and support a very important
resource for our community.
