    Field Day Volunteers Needed- June 7 and June 8th
  K-2 Field Day is Wednesday June 7th and 3-5 is Thursday June 8th.  Volunteers are needed!  Plan to arrive at 7:30 a.m. to help set up and stay until the festivities conclude at noon.  15 volunteers are needed each day.  Please contact Mr. Williams at swilliams at k12albemarle.org.

  Volunteer Opportunity - Last Day of School lunch treat
  Parent help needed during lunch hours on the last day of school, Friday, June 9th:  Cindy Tichner will provide students with cookie and lemonade treats on the last day of school during their lunch periods.   PTO Officers And Committee Chairs For 2006-07 

    The Meriwether Lewis PTO Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the following slate of officers for the 2006-2007 school year:

  One additional co-vice president is still needed.   Please contact a representative of the PTO if interested. 
   
  The election for the PTO officers will be conducted on May 31, preceding the Spring Concert.

  Boxtop Collection
  Don't forget those Boxtops you've collected during the year!  Please bring them to school and place them in the basket as you walk in the front door. 
   
   
   
   
   
  5th Grade Spring Concert Bake Sale
  The fifth grade class will hold a bake sale at the spring concert on Wednesday, May 31st.  This is a collective effort of our fifth graders (they will bake and price items during the schoolday), and proceeds will go to a charity determined by students.  Please bring a few dollars to the concert to support this community service effort.
