Back to School Night:

Back to School Night is scheduled for Thursday, September 21st.  

The schedule for the evening is: 
  
6:30 - New Parents Reception in the Cafeteria 
 
7:00 General Meeting for everyone in the Gym 
 
7:15 Classroom Visits 
 


Special Library Project:

Jackie Holley, who is an excellent seamstress, has volunteered to head 
a project making cushions and chair backs for all the library chairs. Needless 
to say, she will need lots of help. She could use 6 more people to help. These 
people don't have to be able to sew although it would be nice if some of them 
could.  She can use people to cut out patterns and stuff cushions as well.  
She plans to set up two or three machines in the library on October 11 
beginning at 8:45.  This should go fairly quickly if we can get enough
people to help so please let Watts know if you can help at 
wschwab at k12albemarle.org or call theschool at 293-9304.

Birthday Book Club Orders:

Birthday Book Club order forms are due next Tuesday, September 26.  
Additional forms are available in the library and from the Library Media 
Center page of the Meriwether Lewis website.  Thank you for
