Thirteenth Annual MLS Fun Run:

Where:  Meriwether Lewis Elementary School
When:  Sunday, May 6th, 2007, at 4 pm
Entrance Fee (includes drinks and ice cream): $2 per runner
Fun Run T-Shirt (optional): $8 each
Pre-registration ends on Friday, April 27th!

We have 4 relay race categories:  K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 
6th and older/sibling races.  Each race begins with the child 
and finishes with the  parent.  You must enter as a 2-person team.  
We will also hold a preschoolers' dash.  This is not a relay, 
but a parent may accompany his/her child.

RACE DAY VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!




Open House for New Families:

Crozet families are invited to attend an Open House to see the 
school and meet the faculty on May 3 from 6:30 to 7:30.  This is 
a make-up date from April 16th when we lost our electricity.  




 
Kindergarten Orientation:

Kindergarten Orientation for next year’s class will be held May 9 
from 2:45 to 4:00 in the MLS Cafeteria.







Meriwether Marketplace:

Advertise items for sale, services, and announcements 
in the MERIWETHER LEWIS MARKETPLACE, published the 
third Friday of each month with WETHERVANE. No item 
too small when it's FREE! Deadline for submission is the 
third Monday of each month.

Small ads are free to MLS families. Local businesses 
advertise for an annual donation of $200.
