MLS Matters Special Notice

PARENTS:

 
On Wed., May 23rd, there will be a general meeting of the PTO.  The following list is a slate of
candidates for 2007-98 PTO Board positions:

 

Co-Presidents: Nancy Berry and Mary Spencer
Co-Vice-Presidents: Bob Beard and (one open position)
Secretary: Becky Allison
Treasurer: Laurie Strucko
Volunteer Coordinator: Mary Huffard Kegley Scott

 

As you see above, we still need one more candidate for Co-VP.  Please consider this (or any of the
positions) - more nominations are welcome.  We would love to have one of our new Crozet parents on
the board!
 
Co Vice President -

The co-vice president's responsibilities: One attends the monthly School Improvement Program
committee meetings, and the other attends the monthly Albemarle County Parent Council meetings. 
Each reports on these gatherings during the monthly PTO meetings.   Co Vice-Presidents serve on
PTO committees as needed and provide leadership for PTO activities throughout the year.  These
individuals are expected to attend all PTO meetings and events.  Co Vice-Presidents become
Co-Presidents for 2008-2009, so please note that this position involves at least a two-year
commitment.
