MLS Silent Auction News:

We need YOUR help to raise the $13,000 which has been budgeted for the April MLS PTO Silent
Auction.  Solicitation letters will be mailed to local businesses the 1st week of January.  We
need a few volunteers to follow-up with merchants and contact neighboring businesses.  We are just
asking an hour of your time. If you are unable to help in this manner, do you work at a business
that you would be willing to contact the owner for a donated item.  What about a local celebrity? 
We can provide you with the form and cover letter.  Barbara Congdon (co-chair) and myself  will be
having a brief meeting to answer questions and discuss locations in the next several weeks. 
Please contact Wendi Ruschmann Silent Auction co-chair wruschmann at comast.net if you would be
willing to donate a small amount of time.  Thank you for your support.   MLS families will be
contacted for contributions in March.



THE KIDS’ MARKET
 

Do you want to start your own small business and make some money?  Here’s your chance!!!  Just
sign up here for the MLS Kids’ Market.

Once again at the Kids’ Market we are providing the opportunity for Kid Vendors to set up their
own booths.  You can work by yourself of with a friend to create crafts-food-toys or gift items to
sell at school.

 The date is Friday, December 7th from 5:30-8:00 p.m.

It’s not too late to sign up, just pick up a form at the office or call

MLS Spiritwear:

MLS Spiritwear orders placed before December 7 will be delivered before Winter Break!  

Order forms are available in the office, or by request from Gwen Goodkin (goodkingw at aol.com)




Wethervane Submissions:

Please send submissions for the monthly PTO newsletter Wethervane to Liz Ratcliffe at
lizratcliffe at gmail.com by December 7.




Meriwether Marketplace:

Advertise items for sale, services, and announcements 
in the MERIWETHER LEWIS MARKETPLACE, published the 
third Friday of each month with WETHERVANE. No item 
too small when it's FREE! Deadline for submission is the 
third Monday of each month.
