ART VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Art Volunteers are needed for:
-Prep work for the Art Fundraiser and
-to assist Mr. Sherogan in the art classes for each grade so we can complete the pieces.
 
We will be meeting in the Art Room on Monday Oct 29th from 8:15 - 10:15am. Even if you can only
help for part of the time, we'd love to have the help! For the prep work we need:
1) volunteers to paint lots of stock paper blue!
2) volunteers to cut out butterflies from white paper using a template
3)volunteers to draw dragonflies (from a template) onto white paper

If you work or are unable to attend the Monday session we would love to have your help at home
(cutting out butterflies and drawing dragonflies).

This prep work is necessary so that the children can complete a colorful, finished piece of art
during one 45 minute Art Class for the Art Fundraiser. Beginning in November we will need
volunteers to assist Mr. Sherogan in the art classes for each grade so we can complete the pieces.

MLS Directory Corrections:

 - The academic year on the cover should read "2007-2008" (and not "2006-2007" as appeared
incorrectly in the printed version of the directory)

- The e-mail address for the Ingram family (son Ryan) should read "naningram at comcast.net". (Please
note the third letter "n" that was omitted in the printed version of the directory)

- The e-mail address for the Marshall family (son Jack) should read "lorimarshall0302 at msn.com".
(Please note the numbers "0302" that were omitted in the printed version of the directory)





Like Pancakes? HAVE WE GOT A VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU!

We're looking for short order cooks, wait staff, hosts, dishwashers and bus
kids to help at the MLS Pancake Breakfast at Applebees on November 3. This
is a super fun morning and we can use lots of helpers. All able-bodied folks
who have completed at least the fourth grade are encouraged to join us!
Training provided and of course, all-you-can-eat of the best pancakes and
sausage around! Nov 3, Applebees on 29North, 7:30-10am. Email

Advance tickets to the pancake breakfast are just $4.50 when you send a check 
to school for the PTO or $5.00 at the door.

Please send submissions for the monthly PTO newsletter Wethervane to Liz Ratcliffe at
lizratcliffe at gmail.com by November 10.




Meriwether Marketplace:

Advertise items for sale, services, and announcements 
in the MERIWETHER LEWIS MARKETPLACE, published the 
third Friday of each month with WETHERVANE. No item 
too small when it's FREE! Deadline for submission is the 
third Monday of each month.
