Donate to Henley's "Style Closet"
The 8th grade dinner dance at Henley Middle School is the end of May, and we are collecting
dresses and accessories in excellent condition for the "Style Closet."
The purpose? So that no girl will not attend because she cannot afford a dress. We
are charging a nominal amount ($10) so that it does not feel like charity - more like a really
good sale!
The 8th grade dance is NOT a prom, so please donate cocktail length dresses and
sundresses. All sizes, since the girls are all over the place in terms of size and shapes. Boy's
blazers or dress pants and shoes are also welcome.
The funds raised will go to a fund for field trip scholarships and activities fees so that no
student is left out.
The Style Closet will be held on May 7 in the school.
Please donate your "outgrown", excellent condition and stylish dresses or sundresses, shoes or
purses that you would be proud to see your own daughter wear. You may drop them off at
Henley Middle School beginning next week.
Thank you.

Classified listings are FREE in the Meriwether Marketplace, published the third Friday of each
month with the Wethervane. Local businesses can also place a display ad for a whole year for $200,
all of which benefits the PTOs Community Outreach Committee, providing assistance to MLS families
in need.
