Calendar:

January 29:  School Board Budget Hearing  6:30 PM
February 5:  Book Fair Student Preview Day  8:00 am to 2:00 pm (no buying)
February 6:  Book Fair Student Purchases 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
                    Parent Purchases    2:30 pm to 8:00 pm
                    Story Time            7:00 pm to 7:30 pm (wear pj's)
February 7:  Book Fair:  Student and parent purchases 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
February 8:  MLS Bingo Night 6:30 - 8:00 PM
February 15: Skate Night ALL grades  6 - 8 PM
             

          

MLS Enrichment Zone:

Foreign Language Classes Start THIS WEEK.  Enrollment continues for French, Spanish and Chinese
classes and costs $120 for the semester through May.  We are also trying to have a beginner and
more advanced Chinese class so there may be a second class on Tuesdays if there is sufficient
interest.

Registration continues for other Enrichment Zone classes.  Please note: Lego Robotics and Mad
Science Monday are sold out but we have opened the Super Science Tuesday class to all grades with
priority to those who signed up for Mad Science Monday after the class had filled!  Please send in
your registrations as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Scholastic Book Fair:

Our annual Book Fair is coming during the week of Feburary 4th, Monday through Friday.  
If you can volunteer, please contact Lorrie Nicholson by email at lsnicholson at earthlink.net or

Bingo Night Donations:

Save the date for VALENTINE FAMILY BLUEBIRD BINGO NIGHT 2008:
Friday, February 8 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Donations are still needed for Bingo Prizes.  Please deposit all donations in the plastic
container outside the office that will be tagged BINGO donations.

Thank you to Art Fundraiser Volunteers!

Thank you to the wonderful parents that offered their help stuffing packets for the Art 
 Fundraiser. Many hands made light work and we were done much sooner than expected!
