Teacher Appreciation Week
May 12 to 16
                       
To show our appreciation for our Teachers. They will:
                       
·  Be served breakfast on Monday
·  Eat cake on Wednesday
·  Have lunch brought to them on Friday
                       
And be eligible for some amazing prizes in our MLS PTO Teacher Appreciation Raffle!  
                       



MLS PTO Teacher Appreciation Raffle
                       
Many THANKS to all the families who purchased raffle tickets to show your appreciation for our MLS
teachers and staff!  The drawings began Monday and will continue daily throughout this week.  It
is NOT too late to purchase tickets to enter a teacher for the end of the week drawings (including
the GRAND PRIZE of 3 nights at the Wyndham Kingsgate Resort in Williamsburg)!  Tickets may be
purchased for $2 each in the school office or by contacting Mary Burton at 979-4239.

Party Volunteers Needed for the Final Day of School, June 4th !
                       
Cindy Tichner, Cafeteria Manager, puts on a great party for the students during lunch the last day
of school, June 4th.  Parent Volunteers are needed to serve the students lemonade and cookies, and
to help clean the cafeteria tables in between class lunch periods.  Volunteers needed Wednesday,
June 4th, 11am - 1:00pm.  The children have so much fun, it's fun for parents to watch and
celebrate the end of school with the children.

Calling for photos!
                       
We are looking for any photos you have of Mrs. Henderson and her students, past and present, to be
included in an album for her to keep.  Please include the approximate date of the photos and the
children’s names when you send them in.
                       
Send digital photos via Backpack Mail in the form of a CD to Holly Bittle or email them to
robin at albemarlefamily.com.  Send copies of print photos via Backpack Mail to Holly Bittle or drop
them at the office. 
                       
Note:  Hard copies of photos will not be returned.
