Encourage Summer Reading and Puzzle Building
Bring in your slightly used childrens books and puzzles prior to Thursday, May 29th for the 2nd
Annual MLS Bookswap. There is a collection box near the school pencils. All books will be sold
on average for .50 cents to $1 from 5:00 -6:30 p.m. in the MLS cafeteria on Expo Night the 29th.
This is not intended as a fundrasier, but to promote summer reading for our children.
If you would like to help out, just come to the cafeteria between 4 and 5 p.m. on Expo Night to
help sort books before the sale or sign up for a short 30 minute cash register shift. For
questions, contact Robin Bethke, Wendi Ruschmann or Angela Sawyer.
Party Volunteers Needed for the Final Day of School, June 4th !
Cindy Tichner, Cafeteria Manager, puts on a great party for the students during lunch the last day
of school, June 4th. Parent Volunteers are needed to serve the students lemonade and cookies, and
to help clean the cafeteria tables in between class lunch periods. Volunteers needed Wednesday,
June 4th, 11am - 1:00pm. The children have so much fun, it's fun for parents to watch and
celebrate the end of school with the children.
