Dear Parents, 

We want to congratulate all of the students
that participated in the Math 24 Challenge 
last Monday.  The fact that they chose to compete
speaks to their enthusiasm and confidence in 
math.  Congratulations to everyone that 
participated!

The following students will represent our
school at the "24 Challenge Team Championship
2006" on Thursday: 

3rd/4th Grade Team:

Chase Stokes
Damon Ahn
Andrew Weiner
(Two runners up: Zach Mandell and Hyundong Lee)

5th/6th Grade Team:

(Two runners up: Ian Grimshaw and Shira Goldeen)

The Thursday, February 9th competition is
at the following location:

Hollymead Elementary School
2775 Powell Creek Drive
Charlottesville, VA
(School phone: 973-8301)

The competition is set to officially begin
at 7p.m. sharp.  Team members should 
arrive there between 6:00 and 6:15 p.m.
