[MurrayMatters] Skating Party This Sunday May 7th

Just a reminder to everyone that the Skating party is scheduled for this
Sunday, May 7th on the track at Murray from 3:30 to 6:00 pm. A flier
with all the details will be coming home via backpacks tomorrow.  There
will be roller skating, games and relays, kettle corn, snowcones, and
lemonade. Tickets for the skating (including the skates) is $2 per child
or $5 per family. There will be a pie contest and a children's dessert
contest.  Dinner from Wayside Catering (fried chicken, tossed salad,
potato salad, macaroni salad, and rolls) will be available - $2 for
children, $4 for adults.  Sadly, we will be eating the award winning
pies and desserts for dessert!

 

Rain cancels the event and right now the forecast is calling for showers
possibly on Sunday so please stay tuned and hope for good weather.

 

Anyone who has volunteered to make a pie...we are counting on you.  If
you have volunteered for other things and we have not contacted you
already, we will be doing so tomorrow.

 

If anyone is interested in donating chicken, a bucket of chicken cost
$20 and a check can be written to V. L. Murray PTO.

 

Thanks for all the help we have received already.  Please bring your
children out for a day of fun!!

 

Helmets are required to skate...please no bicycles or scooters for
safety reasons!
