Albemarle County Public Schools presents a 

SAFETY
FORUM FOR FAMILIES 

Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, 6:30 to 8:30 pm

Western Albemarle High School Cafeteria 

Parents,
students and school neighbors are invited to join Albemarle County 
Public Schools and Who¹s Watching Charlottesville for a forum
focused on 
cyber safety. 

Forum topics include: 
--
Protecting your children online 
-- Understanding social networking
websites such as MySpace, FaceBook, 
Flickr, Friendster, Blogspot or
Xanga. 
-- Cyber security at home 

The event also includes
an overview of the School Division¹s Electronic 
School
notification System. The system is used to send automated phone and 
e-mail messages about weather-related school schedule changes,
emergencies 
and special school-wide events. 

A questions
and answers session with a panel of local experts will follow.
