[MurrayMatters] Time to play Chess! Can Anyone Help?

Hello Chess Club
Fans!

 



 

It’s another wonderful school year and we are ready
to play Chess!  Unfortunately,
our chess club parent coordinator has graduated from Murray along with her
children!  Is anyone willing
to step into this much needed, much appreciated position?  Basically, you will need to be at
school each Friday afternoon at 2:20 to check students into the
Library/Media Center, have the chess boards and pieces out, and make sure
games are played quietly and fairly. 
Pick up is at 3:30 and you will
need to make sure children remain in the Library until their
parent/guardian comes to get them. 
The children who participate in chess club must have a parent
volunteer to chaperone two Fridays so you won’t be alone.  It would be really wonderful if
more than one parent could volunteer that way no one person is obligated
every Friday afternoon.
