Congratulations to all in the V. L. Murray
Elementary community, teachers, 
staff, administrators, volunteers,
parents, and students! -- on being named 
one of only three area and
89 state schools for the Governor¹s Award for 
Educational
Excellence. 

To qualify for the award, schools and divisions
must meet all state and 
federal achievement benchmarks for at least
two consecutive years and meet 
Gov. Kaine¹s goals for
achievement in elementary reading.
